Amit is founder and CEO at Ecosystm, a next generation Technology Research and Advisory Firm. Ecosystm is the pioneer in truly democratising data and making research available to a much broader tech ecosystem as technology markets evolve.

Amit began his journey as a tech entrepreneur at the age of 23, before entering the analyst world, where he went on to hold senior positions at firms including IDC and Current Analysis (now Global Data). There, Amit applied his entrepreneurial experience to revamp the business model for market engagement across 14 countries in Asia Pacific.

Spotting an opportunity to disrupt the market, Amit went on to deconstruct the traditional research model to conceptualise the vision for Ecosystm - a service that provides depth of insight by default.

Amit holds a Master's in Engineering Management (Hons) from the University of Auckland. In his spare time, Amit sits on the advisory board of a number of digital start-ups and also serves as a mentor to other entrepreneurs as a charter member of TIE (largest global investor-entrepreneur network) to help them achieve their growth goals.

Amit enjoys squeezing in a game of squash when he can and loves taking road trips, specially exposing his young twin boys at an early age to various global cultures and lifestyles.

Ullrich is responsible for developing new business models around Ecosystm's research platform, as well as expanding its network of independent analysts to ensure users only get the most in-depth, expert insights available. A passionate advocate of disruptive technologies and innovation, Ullrich is a regular speaker at conference and in the media, talking about technology enabled business transformation.

Prior to joining Ecosystm, Ullrich spent over 10 years at research firm, IDC. Starting his career as an analyst, he climbed the ranks to become Managing Director for Australia & New Zealand in 2014, overseeing all sales, research and consulting activities.

Ullrich holds a Master's degree in Business & Economics, with majors in Industrial Economics, Industrial Management and Marketing. He is a converted rugby fan and keen kitesurfer.

Letchmy leads Ecosystm's data operations and is instrumental in ensuring clients get maximum value from the platform. She knows a thing or two about creating excellent customer experiences, and has worked with some of the world's largest multinational corporations - including Hewlett-Packard, Thomson and NEC - to streamline their operations for ultimate efficiency.

Before joining the Ecosystm team, Letchmy was Research Director with IDC Asia Pacific, spearheading a number of major technology projects to help her clients better understand their customers, benchmark their technology spend, and establish their brand in the market.

Letchmy holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Management) from the University of Western Sydney.

Letchmy likes to keep active and takes on new adventures such as hiking through the Himalayas. In her free time, she likes to express herself through her paintings.

One of the great heavyweights of the analyst industry, Vernon serves as Ecosystm's Executive Analyst, covering all manner of technology industry - wide trends and emerging markets. A frequent speaker, moderator, author and presenter for a number of leading media outlets, there are few who rival his knowledge in ICT and his strategic vision in digital transformation - particularly in the manufacturing, transportation, finance and banking communities.

Starting his career in client-side IT roles, Vernon entered the research world in 2000, joining IDC as Group Vice President. Through the course of his 18 year tenure with the firm, Vernon's remit evolved from traditional ICT - including Networking, Servers, Storage, Virtualisation and Data Centres - to becoming IDC's first Research Fellow, specialising in The Internet of Things (IoT). He was presented with IDC's highest accolade in 2014, recognised for his passion, persistence and candid approach.

Beyond his work with Ecosystm, Vernon works with a number of venture capital firms as a technology subject matter expert. He also sits on the IoT World Forum steering committee and previously supported the governor for the State Of Illinois in developing a Smart State Initiative.

Vernon holds degrees in Computer Studies and Business Administration. In his free time, Vernon is a sports fan, having competed in track and field at international levels. He's also an active charity runner, and recently completed his eighth consecutive marathon in a four year period.

As Director, Sid is responsible for managing and growing Ecosystm’s consulting and strategic advisory services. This includes technology and vendor selection advisory to the tech buyer ecosystem as well as market analysis, vertical insights, go-to-market strategies and integrated programmes to the vendor ecosystem. With his keen eye for detail and deep understanding of his clients, he develops a holistic approach with the analyst teams to provide solutions for complex client situations to ensure alignment of strategic goals and objectives.

Sid brings over 13 years of senior account management experience in business consulting and strategic market research. Prior to joining ecosystm, Sid was the APAC Consulting Director for GlobalData, leading the consulting practice in the region. He previously spent over six years at IDC New Zealand as an Account Director, driving successful business sales and consulting at the CxO level. He has been instrumental in building quality relationships across the commercial sector – from Fortune 500 technology vendors and entrepreneurs of innovative tech start-ups, to corporate and government organisations.

Sid recently completed the Strategic CIO Programme at the University of Auckland to acquire a deeper understanding of IT’s role in creating customer value and addressing business challenges. Sid holds a Bachelor of Business degree with Honours with a double major in Management and Information Technology.

Andy is our Finance and Operations Manager at Ecosystm, making sure that company operations, from accounts and finance to IT and other administrative functions keep ticking along smoothly. The epitome of positivity, Andy is the one that ensures the office is a welcoming, fun and successful environment.

Before joining Ecosystm, Andy worked at Omni United, where he supported the team with accounting, bookkeeping and management reporting. He also managed an entire portfolio of 500 customers for credit insurance. Prior to that, Andy also was at IDC performing data analytics.

Andy holds a degree in Accountancy and Business Management, with a focus on entrepreneurship from the Singapore Management University. If he's not in the office, you may well spot him at the airport on the way to his next big adventure to experience new sights and cultures.

Helping us see the bigger picture, Sash is a Principal Analyst at Ecosystm, responsible for delving into our insights and developing thought leadership to show buyers and vendors alike where the industry is heading. A veteran in primary and secondary research, Sash has more than 16 years of experience analysing, writing and training in industries as wide-ranging as healthcare, education and insurance.

In her last position as Research Manager at IDC Asia Pacific, Sash was in charge of spotting current and future technology adoption trends in Healthcare and Education. She was also a regular speaker and panelist at industry events, and frequently moderated conversations between key policymakers and senior IT executives.

Sash holds a Masters in Education from the University of California, Irvine, and a Masters in English from Jadavpur University, India. Sash is a keen student of the human psyche and of the sociological and genetic factors that shape it.

As the Senior Analyst at Ecosystm, Joan has the eyes of a hawk when it comes to spotting industry trends and changes in sentiment. Working in close collaboration with our Chief Researcher, Joan makes sense of the noise in the market to provide our partners and clients with meaningful and in-depth insights to enable sound decision making to all market participants.

Prior to joining Ecosystm, Joan was an analyst at Changi General Hospital, where she harnessed the power of data to enhance patients' healthcare experiences, and streamline care provision across the board. She also previously worked for DBS as an MIS Analyst, tracking performance metrics and risk indicators.

Joan holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, majoring in Economics and Finance, from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. Committed in balancing the art and science of her craft in Data Science, she has also recently completed a Specialist Diploma in Business Analytics from Temasek Polytechnic.

Having a broad range of interests means Joan is often on the lookout for new experiences and ideas. She also enjoys geeking out with her husband on science fiction and latest technology news and innovations.

Charles is globally recognised as a leading industry expert in the Internet of Things (IoT). Charles has joined forces with Ecosystm to create in-depth IoT tech buyer and vendor insights. He is renowned for his thought-provoking presentations that not only deliver insights based on the latest trends, but also provide guidance to both technical and business minded audiences on how to avoid potential pitfalls of IoT solution deployment.

Charles has over 25 years' experience in Asia, Europe & the US advising technology vendors, enterprise customers and government organisations on how to leverage emerging technologies and solutions to drive business and digital transformation.

Prior to starting his own firm, Charles led the telecoms, mobility & IoT practices for IDC Asia Pacific and had worked for leading global operators including BT, Vodafone and O2 (Telefonica)

Charles sits on the advisory boards of IoT start-ups, industry associations and event organisations and was recently the conference chair for both the IoT Asia (March 2017) and IoT World Asia (October 20017) events.

In addition, Charles is active in Lean In's Singapore Chapter and is a co-founder of its #Heforshe Circle Charles graduated with an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

Claus has more than 17 years of experience in both strategic and tactical guidance for vendors and service providers in the IT and telecommunications space. Having worked as an analyst and a consultant in both Europe and Asia, Claus has supported clients with local, regional and global briefs to position their offerings and grow their businesses in their target markets. These have included Google, Microsoft, IBM, AT&T, Orange and SingTel.

Previously, Claus spent nine years at IDC Asia Pacific, where he climbed the ranks to launch and lead IDC's Emerging Technology practice. In Asia and Europe, Claus is also a renowned speaker and blogger, who continues to evaluate and forecast how disruptive technologies impact the marketplace and how digitization is transforming business models across all industries.

Claus is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, which also marks Ecosystm's extension and coverage in the EMEA region.

Kaushik is Ecosystm's Principal Advisor, sharing his expertise and knowledge gathered over more than 25 years in the industry to help shape the company's strategy and vision. Passionate about consulting, facilitating and mentoring, Kaushik runs his own boutique consulting practice on digital transformation. He is also associated with a leading management schools in South Asia as Visiting/Adjunct Faculty where he conducts Digital Transformation courses.

Prior to Ecosystm, Kaushik worked in senior roles for multinational technology and management consulting corporations in Asia Pacific and North America, including PwC, IBM, Oracle and most recently at SAP as Vice President of Value Engineering and Presales in Southeast Asia. His extensive experience has led him to spearhead business transformation programmes for clients across consumer products, high tech, automotive, industrial manufacturing and retail.

Kaushik holds a PhD in Production & Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. An avid reader and a movie enthusiast, Kaushik loves travelling, meeting people and having good conversations.

Mike Ghasemi is one of APAC's most respected retail and hospitality industry futurists, analysing trends and the use of emerging technologies to digitally transform organisations. His intellectual work and thinking - which has covered topics as broad as omnichannel strategy, cross-border e-commerce, supply chain management, customer engagement and in-store technologies - have influenced many of the region's best-known retail, hospitality and technology brands.

In his most recent position as Research Director for Retail Insights APAC and Worldwide Hospitality at IDC, Mike was extensively involved in advising local and regional clients on IT solutions, investments and mitigating technology risk. Prior to this, the self-proclaimed technopreneur spent 20 years in senior management and leadership roles within the engineering and retail IT industry, and co-founded the UK-based International Retail Technology Council.

Mike graduated from De Montfort University with an MBA. In his free time he loves to swim, ride his motorbike over the weekend and read leadership articles and political news.

Chris is Director – Tech Communities at Ecosystm, where he champions meaningful conversations and engagements with and across the tech community.

In his previous role as Conference Director for Executive Networks Media, Chris spent the past ten years building communities in the tech industry in Southeast Asia. The publication house is home to regional tech titles including CIO Asia and Computerworld. He was also responsible for organising some of the most prolific networking conferences for IT leaders in the region including the well-established CIO Summit series.

Prior to that, Chris was the Conference Director and Publisher at FutureGov, a Singapore-based public sector technology media organisation.

A globetrotter at heart, Chris has lived in Dubai, South Africa, Malawi, Botswana and Jamaica (where he was born) before settling down in Singapore in 2007. He holds a degree in Industrial Design from Loughborough University in the UK.

In his free time, Chris enjoys a good game of football and interactive electronic games. He is also an avid watch enthusiast and prides himself with his collection of over fifty timepieces.

Globally recognised as one of the Most Powerful Women in Business in titles including Fortune, Forbes and Business Today, Neelam has played an instrumental role in shaping the IT industry in India over the course of an illustrious career spanning 35 years.

Specialising in managing IT transformations across a variety of industries, Neelam has served in senior executive roles for technology giants including IBM, Microsoft and Compaq. Most recently, Neelam was appointed Vice President for Global Industries, Strategic Alliances and Inside Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she navigated the company through a number of mergers and acquisitions. Neelam was also a member of the NASSCOM Executive Council from 2009 to 2017, making significant contributions to industry strategy and public policy frameworks in India.

Beyond her Board Advisor role at Ecosystm, Neelam continues to serve as a Board Member at Royal Philips, Netherlands and ICICI Bank Limited India. She also advises and mentors various organisations on business transformation.

Neelam is a graduate of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, India. Neelam is a passionate traveler, an avid reader and every now and then, loves to sneak in some time for Netflix !

Samir is the Executive Director at Sino Hero Foods - an advisory firm consulting primarily food and beverage companies on market entry and development strategies into Greater China, Oceania and ASEAN. In particular, Samir pioneered the supply of cheese and other Western-style food products to leading supermarkets and fast food chains in China.

Prior to Sino Hero Foods, Samir founded Frontier Foods, which went on to become one of China's largest exporters of cheese. His extensive experience in distributing and marketing in China has seen him become an international speaker at government, private and educational conferences around the world.

Samir graduated with an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona. Samir believes that it's not about first mover advantage for start ups. Key is to just get moving!

Currently serving as Tata Communications' President of Mobility, IoT and Collaboration Divisions, Anthony has amassed over 25 years experience in successfully bringing new technology solutions to the market.

Prior to joining Tata, Anthony was VP/GM of Unified Communications at Avaya. There, he fostered the largest pipeline of products in the company's history and brought 130 new offerings across a broad portfolio to the table. He also served as President and CEO at Skyrider, and held multiple senior leadership roles at Symbol Technologies (acquired by Motorola) and Nortel Networks.

Anthony graduated with a degree in Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. In whatever free time he has remaining he enjoys being a human climbing structure to his three young children.

Serial entrepreneur Vishal has spent more than 20 years founding, scaling, mentoring and investing in startups across different industries and geographies. He is well-versed in the challenges small businesses face and the strategies needed to overcome them.

A self-proclaimed 'diehard foodie', Vishal is currently pursuing his passion for Indian cuisine, serving as Investor, Co-Founder and Director at Biryani By Kilo - a catering and food delivery service in New Delhi. He also previously founded private equity firm Carpediem Capital (India), hedge fund Akshayam Capital (Singapore), and IT ventures Bhartiya Electronics and Vectra Solutions.

Vishal completed a post-graduate degree in Management at Syracuse University, New York and engineering degree from IIT-BHU, India. In his spare time, Vishal is an avid traveler and a voracious reader.

Graeme represents over 500 organisations that employ more than 100,000 people as CEO of New Zealand's umbrella technology association, NZTech, an NGO dedicated to creating a prosperous New Zealand underpinned by technology. Fascinated by the impact technology can make to society and the economy, Graeme also serves as Chair at the Auckland ICT Graduate School, Chair of the IoT Alliance, is a Director of the New Zealand AI Forum and Director at the World Information Technology and Services Alliance.

Prior to this, Graeme held multiple senior leadership roles during his ten years at IDC. His final role as Managing Director, Northern Europe & IDC Insights saw him responsible for the overall management, research services and sales & marketing of a variety of industry sectors across EMEA.

Graeme graduated from London's Cass Business School with an MBA. A keen triathlete, Graeme represented New Zealand at World Xterra (Off-Road Triathlon) Championships in 2006 and can be found most weekends on his mountain bike.

Formerly Global Advisor, Digital Strategy and Government Analytics at the World Bank, Randeep has helped many governments and public sector organisations around the globe to design, implement and review strategies to promote the digital economy.

In a career spanning more than 35 years, Randeep has pioneered a number of public-private digital initiatives. He has previously served as Practice Manager for the World Bank's Digital Development Unit, leading a global team of technology professionals to support developing countries on policies and programmes relating to broadband infrastructure, mobile networks, digital services, and digital industry. He was also a senior member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), and helped the state of Andhra Pradesh, India to become a key international destination for IT-based services.

Apart from his work with Ecosystm, Randeep acts as Board Advisor for StaffonDemand, a digital recruitment platform. He also coaches a number of technology leaders on how to better leverage technology for societal impact, specialising in emerging markets.

Randeep holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics. In his free time Randeep loves to travel and dabble in the profundities of quantum physics.
